Return Policy

“MarketStop – One for All”!

Return Policy:  PLEASE NOTE:  RETURNS ARE THE ULTIMATE BANE OF ALL RETAIL BUSINESSES.  THEY ARE EXTREMELY COSTLY, AND BY DILIGENCE AND COOPERATION FROM EVERYONE, SHOPPERS AND MERCHANTS ALIKE, THEY ARE EASILY AVOIDABLE.  THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES WILL BE PUT INTO PLACE CONCERNING ANY AND ALL POTENTIAL OR ACTUAL RETURNS FOR BOTH MERCHANTS AND SHOPPERS:

MERCHANTS:  All merchants in the MarketStop MarketPlace will authorize returns.  However, this is ONLY on the grounds that there is an error on the part of the merchant, like an incorrect product/item description or a false claim (accident or otherwise), or if the item(s) was (were) damaged in shipping, taking into account that the item was packaged properly.  Where shipping is concerned, it is always recommended to purchase insurance, so that the shipping company is held responsible for negligent shipping that causes damage.  Aside from these return rules, merchants may use their own discretion on any other returns or return policies they have in place as an individual entity.  All return policies that are additional to MarketStop’s policies concerning returns must not refute or alter MarketStop’s policies in any manner and must be noted in every listing either word-for-word or by a link to a page that carries the information (not including personal websites).

MarketStop is not responsible in any way, shape, or form for refunds or warranties on items not purchased directly from them.  Items that are purchased directly from MarketStop are subject to manufacturer warranty.  Since MarketStop is not a manufacturer of the products it sells, and has no say, whatsoever, in the manufacturing process, it cannot warranty the products, if the products do not work as they are intended and expected, only the manufacturer of the product is responsible and accountable for the items and products they manufacture, and no one else.  That being said, however, we will provide limited refund (not replacement) warranties of 30 days from date of purchase on everything MarketStop vends, but, as previously mentioned, since we do not manufacture said products, we will, first, direct the shopper to the manufacturer for premium warranty information (such as a replacement).  If there are any issues between the customer and the manufacturer, which does occasionally occur with online sales, we will put into action our warranty program; that is, if its time has not elapsed and is still valid.  Note that some manufacturers who operate in greed and acquisitiveness will void their warranties unless their product is purchased directly from them.  Since we are a retailer and not a manufacturer, our responsibility to our shoppers is to pick up this slack.

SHOPPERS:  Most large eCommerce companies now charge customers for returns and restocking fees, which, quite often, amount to the cost of the item in the first place.  Because of this, and due to the overwhelming amount of returns in the Internet-based eCommerce shopping experience, shoppers may only return items or products that have been described improperly and/or incorrectly by the merchant, or if a false claim by the merchant had been made in the listing.  So, please, before ever making a purchase, be absolutely and completely sure you know exactly what you are buying before you commit to buying it.  If the merchant fails to answer an important and pertinent question that you have prior to your purchase, such as the size of a garment, please move on to another merchant.  If they do answer you, and you find after receipt of the item that the description or information you were provided was incorrect, you may return the item for a full refund, and the merchant must provide the payment and means for the return shipment of said item.  Save all email correspondence through the MarketStop Messages as proof of contact.  Please note that MarketStop is not responsible in any way, shape, or form for refunds or warranties on items that are not purchased directly from them.  Items that are purchased from MarketStop are subject to manufacturer warranty only, where warranties are concerned.  Since MarketStop is not the manufacturer of the products it sells, MarketStop cannot be held accountable for the warranties of the products if they do not work or present as they are expected to.  Only the manufacturer of the product is accountable, and no one else.
